JACO FAMILY REUNION
COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA
FRIDAY, JUNE 29 “TIL SUNDAY, JULY 1, 2012
Those of you who attended the 2011 Jaco Reunion will recall that we voted to move the dates from the last weekend in July to the last weekend in June. The reunion site was decided to be Columbia, SC. The Columbia Jaco’s are delighted to welcome you to our great state and our capital city. Columbia is centrally located in South Carolina and if you chose to extend your vacation beyond the reunion we are only 2 hours away from tourist destinations like Myrtle Beach and Charleston. Columbia itself has many interesting places to visit such as the State Capital Complex and the World Class Riverbanks Zoo, among others.
We have arranged for the reunion to be held at the LaQuinta Inn, 7333 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, SC 29209.
The Rate will be $89.00. Telephone (803)783-5410. Their amenities include:
- Free Bright Side breakfast
- Free high speed internet
- Flat screen TV’s , Microwave/fridges in each room
- Several restaurants very nearby (walking distance)
- Pet Friendly
Directions are Take I-77, exit 9A, turn right and the Inn is directly behind Shoney’s. I-77 has interchanges off I-26 and I-20. Those of you coming from Tennessee and north will probably come in on I-26. If so, when you reach the Columbia area, take the Charleston exit and it will take you to I-77 north. I-77 is the main interstate between Columbia and Charlotte. Exit 9A is only 10 minutes away. Since most have a GPS now it should be easy to locate.
We look forward to your visit and hopefully this reunion will be one of our best.

An email received from Dr. Nick Jaco
The following is a copy of an email received by Allen Jaco from Dr. Nick Jaco on 17 Oct 2010. It tells of a recent trip he and his wife, Rose Marie, made to celebrate his 90th BIRTHDAY! How few of us will be able to do such once we reach 90? How many of us will see 90?
